BREAKING: BJ Ojulari Commits to Tennessee
MARIETTA, Ga– Tennessee picked up their 14th commitment in the 2020 class on Friday afternoon. BJ Ojulari, a 4-Star ATH from Marietta High School, announced his commitment to Jeremy Pruitt’s Volunteers in front of his high school classmates, family, and supporters in the Marietta High Theater. The decision caught some off guard as Tennessee was considered a dark-horse candidate until Wednesday of this week, when the momentum seemed to switch entirely to Tennessee.
The future Volunteer selected the University of Tennessee over LSU, Auburn, Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. In addition, Ojulari was being pursued by many other schools who missed out on making his final 6. Clemson, Michigan, Virginia Tech, and many other schools had their hats in the ring for Ojulari’s services. This is a massive statement to the skills possessed by the Georgia native. According to 247Sports.Com, Ojulari ranks as the 10th rated at his position in the nation, and the 17th rated player in his home state of Georgia. As for Rivals.Com, they rank Ojulari as the 12th rated player at his position as well as in his state. Ojulari has the skills and talent to win big at the next level, and could potentially be able to win big at the highest level.
Ojulari is a massive get for Tennessee as the Volunteers have racked up some more momentum in their 2020 Class. Although Ojulari is one of the top ranked recruits in Tennessee’s class so far, they still have a lot of work to do in their long road to get a top 10 class.
