Tennessee’s bowl destination is finally appearing to come into focus, and it comes as a very surprising turn of events for most Vols fans. Most fans of the Volunteers expected a Bowl Game in the State of Florida, however, according to recent bowl projections the momentum has shifted to the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl as multiple major organizations have changed their predictions for the Vols to Nashville.

Despite some backlash, Head Coach Jeremy Pruitt determined that suspending Thompson for the first two games of the 2019 season would be sufficient, as long as the sophomore defensive back learned from the experience and kept his nose clean. It didn’t take long for Thompson to prove to his coach and team that he could walk the straight and narrow.
