Martavius French Commits to Tennessee
French quickly chose the Vols after a visit from Jeremy Pruitt reiterated how big of a priority he was in this class. French just made the news public that he has de-committed from Arkansas two days ago.
Tennessee hosted the touted prospect on a visit on the weekend of October 5th. That visit seemingly changed all of the momenta in this recruitment.
French attended his next game decked out in Tennessee gear, from gloves to cleats. He told VR2’s Brandon Martin at the time, “they showed us love, so now we have to show them love.”
French marks the 16th commitment in the class for Tennessee. He is also the 7th prospect from inside the state to choose the home-state school in this cycle.
Martavius French is rated as the 180th overall prospect in the nation, number10 inside linebacker, and number 6 prospect from the state of Tennessee, according to rivals.
This leaves one prospect left at the in-state powerhouse on the board in four-star Tamarion McDonald.
