The Volunteers (3-5) have their eyes on reaching Bowl Eligibility for the first time since 2016 when they went to the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl in Nashville. While Tennessee’s odds at making a Bowl Game were thought to be dormant following losing 2 early match-ups to Georgia State and Brigham Young, their chances to reach 6 wins have sky-rocketed following victories over the Mississippi State Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks in recent weeks. With four games remaining in the season against UAB, Kentucky, Missouri, and Vanderbilt, the Volunteers must win 3 of them to pass the 6-win threshold required to get into a bowl. Will they be able to achieve that? Well, it all starts this weekend when Tennessee meets UAB for a 7:00 kick-off on ESPNU.
