New Details Emerge About Tennessee Player Who Was Dismissed
TMZ Sports has obtained a video clip in which Banks was seen threatening and physically assaulting a woman. The video honestly speaks for itself, and with the situation that unfolded earlier in the week with Banks, Pruitt really had no choice but to dismiss him from the team. If Pruitt also let Banks off with a warning on this situation, he would have received fierce backlash from both parts of Tennessee’s fanbase as well as the local and national media.
On the field, Tennessee will miss Banks as they are now extremely thin at linebacker but in the end there really was not a second choice for head coach Jeremy Pruitt. All of this has occurred roughly 24 hours before the Vols take the field tomorrow night to face-off against the Georgia Bulldogs. This is a developing story and we will update it as more details unfold, so be sure to check back later.
