Tennessee Offers Decamrion Richardson, Talented CB From Louisiana

by | Oct 23, 2019

It’s the fall evaluation period for Tennessee’s staff, and WR Coach, David Johnson may have found a prospect that is set to blow up with offers over the next few weeks in currently unranked prospect Decamrion Richardson.

Richardson is a 6’4 180lb Corner out of Bossier City, Louisiana. His only offers thus far in his recruitment have been from FCS schools and 1 group of 5 school (Central Michigan), so clearly he is flying under the radar. His film shows that he’s an explosive player and is capable of making game-defining plays on the outside. He’s also outstanding in man coverage for a player his height, all while also being a track star, running a 10.75 100 meter dash, a 21.63 200 meter dash, and a 6’4 high jump. He has short field speed, running a 4.43 40 yard dash; it’s very rare to see an outside corner at his height with that speed and explosiveness, and his athleticism could potentially find him playing not only corner but safety and maybe even wide receiver at the next level.

David Johnson already sent him his first power 5 offer earlier this week, but expect him to earn a lot more over the next couple of months. Good on the Tennessee coaching staff to get in on this one early, but it’s up to them to stay in it to the end.
